Hair and Happiness

My grandma told me a story about her oldest sister, Bertha. Bertha’s family was tight on money, so Bertha decided to do what she could to help the family budget. She decided that she didn’t need to have her hair professional done every week. Poor Bertha was miserable. She felt unattractive.

Everyone knows that when a woman isn’t happy, no one is happy.

So Bertha’s husband begged her to get her hair done again. The money was worth having a happy wife and mother.

Well, that’s how I was starting to feel. I needed a change. So I took my friend’s advise and went to see her hairstylist. She was great. She knew how to cut my hair without me walking her through common errors.

When I came home, Scott said I looked like a movie star. I’m still learning how to style my hair, though, so no pictures to share yet.
