I came to a sad realization the other day. The scale wasn’t lying, nor was the mirror. I have no probably having a little belly if I’m three months pregnant, but I’m NOT pregnant. I’ve been a slacker when it comes to working out lately (by lately, I mean the entire last year). I choose my outfits wisely so it isn’t noticeable to others.
It was time to take action. Scott was thinking the same thing (not that I had a belly, just that we needed to start exercising more and that it would be great to work out together). I wasn’t actually thinking we would work out together. When he suggested that I envisioned the couples you see jogging on the sidewalk in complimentary jogging suits.
Or worse yet some of the cheesy YouTube videos of couples working out together.
We decided to wake up early 4 times a week to exercise together before the kids wake up.Between balance ball workouts, Wii Fit, and Just Dance, we should have enough variety to keep us interested and excited about our workouts for awhile.
