Playroom plans

Dreaming is what keeps me sane. As much as I love my family . . . I really can’t wait until we have our own place again. I can’t wait until I can design rooms, paint walls and make a space my own. (I’m sick of white wall rentals.)

I came across some fun inspiration for the playroom. By making boardgames double as artwork, it gives a color scheme, and encourages the family to play together.

Here’s a link if you want to learn how to do this, too.

And inspiration for the rest of the room:

Although I don't have as many as this play room, I love the toy and book cubby spaces in our play room. I've heard you can get some nice ones for a good price at Ikea. I also love having a play room since it eliminates a lot of mess if toys are just kept in one area. I say go for this room when you can! You'll love it!

I have some Ikea cube shelves (got them on craigslist), but I would like the boxes that fit perfectly in them too. This room looks so clean!
